Today there is such a fascination with Jesus. People from all walks of life have probably owned or worn some sort of cross that symbolizes the crucifixion of Jesus. Two of the most grossing box office movies over the past few years have been the Passion of Christ and the DaVinci Code. There are surpluses of songs and books that have been written and sung about Jesus.
But who is Jesus Christ? Why all the fuss? Why is He so important? Why should I “encounter,” that is, meet Him?

For those that attend any program or event of The Journey has a chance to win a Wisnewski Family Grilled-Cheese Dinner by submitting a photo of any youth in The Journey, or Union, and any photo of parents, caregivers individually or as a family. Photos can be black and white, or color and should be digital and submitted on a disc or e-mailed to jessewisnewski@perrow.org (preferably .jpeg format). If you do not have access to a computer or digital camera, we can accept hard copies of photos. The winning entries will appear in future Perrow Church publications, as well as posted on the website. Entries are due no later than the 14th of November and you can submit as many as you like.
