what I am currently reading

For this summer semester, which begins Monday the 12th of May, I will be taking two courses through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.  My two classes are The New Testament Christian Ethics and Theology Survey 2.  So this means that the following text books will have to be devoured this summer by the middle of August:

N.T. and Christian Ethics:

1. God and the Crisis of Freedom by Richard Bauckham

2. The Moral Vision of the New Testament by Richard Hays

3. Kingdom Ethics by Glen Stassen and David Gushee

Theology Survey 2:

1. Our Reasonable Faith by Herman Bavinck

2. A Royal “Waste” of TIme: The Splendor of Worshipping God and Being Church for the World by Marva Dawn

3. The Holy Spirit by Sinclair Ferguson

4. The Millennial Maze by Stanley Grenz

5. Redemption Accomplished and Applied by John Murray
